Elite Meds – Safe Supply Statement
At Elite Meds, your safety is our highest priority. As a registered UK online pharmacy, we follow strict clinical, regulatory and professional standards to ensure that every medicine we supply is safe, appropriate and legally compliant. This statement explains how we protect patients and how we make decisions about supplying medicines online.
1. Regulated Pharmacy Service
Elite Meds is operated by Singhs Medical Ltd and medicines are supplied from our GPhC-registered pharmacy premises at:
1 Richmond Road, Worksop, Nottinghamshire, S80 2TP (GPhC Premises Number: 1109387).
All medicine supply is supervised by a Responsible Pharmacist in accordance with UK pharmacy law and GPhC standards.
2. Clinical Review of Orders
For Pharmacy-only medicines (“P”) and any product requiring assessment, we conduct a clinical review before supply. This may include:
- A health questionnaire completed during checkout
- Pharmacist review of your answers
- Requests for additional information where needed
- Screening for drug interactions, contraindications and risks
- Assessing suitability based on age, symptoms and medical history
Supply will only proceed if the pharmacist is satisfied that the medicine is safe and appropriate for you.
3. Identity & Age Verification
To protect patient safety, we may verify your identity or age using:
- Secure third-party verification tools (such as Yoti or Onfido)
- Electoral roll and address-matching databases
- Manual ID checks (e.g., passport, driving licence)
- Internal matching and fraud-prevention systems
Where verification cannot be completed, we may decline supply.
4. Preventing Misuse & Overuse of Medicines
Elite Meds takes medicine misuse seriously. We may refuse supply where there is evidence or suspicion of:
- Duplicate or excessive ordering
- Multiple accounts under similar details
- Inconsistent or inaccurate questionnaire answers
- Orders linked to potential misuse or dependency
- Unusually large or frequent purchase patterns
Where necessary, we may contact you for clarification before supply.
5. When We May Decline or Cancel an Order
Elite Meds may decline or cancel an order if:
- The medicine is not clinically appropriate
- Symptoms require face-to-face medical assessment
- Identity or age cannot be verified
- There is a risk of misuse or unsafe use
- A contraindication or potential interaction is identified
- Answers provided are incomplete, misleading or inconsistent
- The pharmacist determines it is unsafe to proceed
Safety always takes precedence over completing an order.
6. Responsible Prescribing (When This Service Is Introduced)
When Elite Meds adds private prescribing services, prescriptions will only be issued by UK-registered prescribers following proper assessment. Prescribers will:
- Review your medical history and questionnaire
- Issue prescriptions only where clinically appropriate
- Refuse or recommend alternatives if necessary
- Follow GMC, GPhC and MHRA guidelines
Patients will not be able to choose medicines or quantities where they are not clinically indicated.
7. UK-Only Supply
Elite Meds supplies medicines exclusively to UK residents and UK delivery addresses. We do not export medicines outside the UK.
