Elite Meds – Terms & Conditions

Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of www.elitemeds.com (“the Website”) and your purchase of goods and services from Elite Meds. By accessing or using the Website, including through guest checkout, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must stop using the Website immediately.

Elite Meds is regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and complies with the Human Medicines Regulations 2012, Consumer Rights Act 2015, Electronic Commerce Regulations 2002, and UK GDPR.

1. Age Restrictions & Eligibility

To use our Website, create an account, or place an order—including through guest checkout—you confirm that you are 18 years or older and have full legal capacity. You may place orders only for yourself or for someone you are legally entitled to represent.

Guest Checkout

Guest checkout is permitted, but you must still provide accurate personal and medical information, confirm your identity when requested, and acknowledge that certain products require ID or age verification.

Age & Identity Verification

For GSL, Pharmacy (“P”) medicines, or prescription services, Elite Meds may require identity or age verification through internal or third-party tools such as Yoti, Onfido, electoral roll checks, or internal matching. We may refuse supply where we cannot verify age or identity.

Prohibited Users

You must not use the Website if you are under 18, if you attempt to obtain medicines for another person without legal authority, if you have previously been banned, or if you refuse required verification.

2. Clinical Safety, Professional Oversight & Misuse Prevention

All clinical decisions are made by the Responsible Pharmacist or authorised prescriber on duty.

You agree that all medical, personal, and questionnaire information provided is truthful, current, and complete. You must not withhold relevant information, provide misleading answers, or attempt to obtain medicines for misuse, stockpiling, or unauthorised persons.

Elite Meds may refuse orders where there is suspicion of misuse, duplicate orders, false information, multiple accounts, or unusual purchasing patterns. Additional checks may be carried out where needed.

We may refuse to supply any medicine if it is clinically unsafe, if answers are inconsistent, if identity cannot be validated, or if the pharmacist determines that supply is not appropriate.

Safe Supply Policy

Elite Meds operates a strict Safe Supply Policy. All orders for Pharmacy Medicines and any clinically assessed product are reviewed by the Responsible Pharmacist. Supply may be declined where answers are inconsistent, identity cannot be verified, or the medicine is not clinically appropriate. We may request further information or ID where needed and reserve the right to refuse supply to protect patient safety.

3. Ordering Medicines

When submitting an order, whether through an account or guest checkout, you confirm you are legally entitled to purchase the items and will follow all instructions provided.

Pharmacy Medicines (P)

Orders for P-medicines require a health questionnaire and approval by the Responsible Pharmacist.

Prescription-Only Medicines (POM)

Elite Meds is not issuing prescriptions at launch. When POM services become available, private prescriptions must be submitted or issued by our prescriber. If you cancel after a prescription is issued, a £10 prescription fee will apply. Identity checks will be performed before dispensing.

Identity Checks

We may request proof of ID, address, or a live identification selfie using third-party verification services. Orders may be cancelled if verification fails.

4. Formation of Contract

A legally binding contract is formed only when:

1. You place an order;
2. Payment is authorised;
3. Initial validation and clinical checks are completed;
4. The pharmacist approves supply (where applicable);
5. You receive a Despatch Confirmation Email.

Order acknowledgement alone does not constitute acceptance.

5. Medicine Images, Generic Policy & Supply Variability

Product images are for illustration only. Generic medicines may differ in appearance, brand, colour, or packaging. Elite Meds may supply any clinically equivalent licensed UK medicine unless a specific brand is explicitly required.

6. Prices & Payments

All prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. Payment is taken at checkout. If a pricing or listing error occurs, we may cancel the order and refund any payment. Medicines will not be dispatched until full payment is received.

7. Delivery

Elite Meds uses:

• Royal Mail Tracked 48 – £3.99
• Royal Mail Tracked 24 – £4.49

Orders placed before 3:30pm Monday–Friday are usually processed the same day, subject to clinical review and stock availability.

Weight-Based Adjustments

Elite Meds may charge additional postage for unusually heavy or bulk orders. Where required, we will contact you prior to dispatch.

Delivery Delays

We are not liable for delays outside our control, including courier delays, strikes, or severe weather. Risk transfers upon delivery; title transfers once full payment is received.

8. Returns & Refunds

For regulatory reasons, medicines cannot be returned unless they are faulty, damaged in transit, or supplied in error.

Non-medicinal items may be returned within 28 days if unopened and in original condition. Return postage is the customer’s responsibility. Refunds may be reduced where an item is opened, damaged, or unsellable.

9. Acceptable Use of the Website

You must not use the Website for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent activity; attempt to bypass clinical or identity checks; use automated tools or bots; attempt to obtain medicines for resale; or interfere with Website security or performance.

10. Account & Guest Checkout Security

Whether using an account or guest checkout, you must ensure that all information provided is accurate and that your device and browser are secure. Elite Meds may limit or block access if security concerns are identified.

11. Website Content, Accuracy & Availability

We aim to keep all content accurate, but we cannot guarantee error-free information, uninterrupted Website access, or real-time stock accuracy. We are not responsible for third-party websites linked from our Website. Temporary downtime may occur due to maintenance.

12. Data Protection & Privacy

Elite Meds processes personal data under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Data may be shared with our dispensing pharmacy, couriers, payment processors, prescribers, and regulators or law enforcement where legally required. Please see our Privacy Policy for full information.

13. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any statutory consumer rights.

Subject to statutory rights, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including business loss, data loss, or delays outside our control.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most recent version will always be displayed on this page. Continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
