Usage Instructions

How should HydraMed Night Eye Ointment be administered for optimal ocular protection?

Apply HydraMed Night Eye Ointment immediately before retiring to sleep:

1. Wash and dry hands thoroughly before handling the tube.

2. Tilt your head back slightly and gently pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket (conjunctival sac).

3. Hold the tube vertically above the eye. Do not touch the tip of the tube to the eye, eyelid, fingers, or any other surface.

4. Squeeze a small ribbon (approximately 1 cm) of HydraMed Night Eye Ointment into the lower eyelid pocket.

5. Close your eye gently for 1 to 2 minutes to allow the ointment to melt and spread evenly across the surface of the eye.

6. Wipe away any excess ointment from the surrounding skin using a clean tissue.

7. Replace the cap tightly immediately after use.

Because HydraMed Night Eye Ointment causes temporary blurred vision due to its viscous paraffin base, it should ideally be applied right before sleep.

HydraMed Night Eye Ointment is strictly for ophthalmic (eye) use; do not swallow the ointment. Do not use HydraMed Night Eye Ointment if you have a known hypersensitivity or allergy to vitamin A, chamomile, liquid paraffin, white soft paraffin, or any component of the formula.

Important Ocular Safety Precautions:

• Contact Lens Wearers: Do not wear contact lenses while using HydraMed Night Eye Ointment. The viscous paraffin base will coat and ruin contact lenses. Remove lenses before applying the ointment at night, and ensure all ointment residue is fully cleared from the eyes before inserting fresh lenses the following morning.

• Temporary Vision Impairment: HydraMed Night Eye Ointment causes transient blurring of vision upon application. Do not drive, operate machinery, or perform tasks requiring clear vision until your eyesight has fully cleared.

• Concomitant Ophthalmic Products: If using other eye drops or ointments, wait at least 30 minutes after applying other medications before administering HydraMed Night Eye Ointment (which should always be applied last).

Discontinue use and consult an eye care practitioner or doctor if ocular pain, redness, or vision changes persist or worsen. Store HydraMed Night Eye Ointment between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius, keep away from direct heat and sunlight, and discard the tube 90 days (3 months) after first opening. Keep safely out of the sight and reach of children.
